What is the job role? This role is part of the Social Work Academy within Children’s Services, offering a unique chance to combine hands-on practice with leadership and development responsibilities. You will play a key role in guiding Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs), helping them grow in their practice while contributing to both service and professional development. With post-qualification experience, you’ll work closely with the Team Manager and Senior Practitioners in supporting, mentoring, and the development of the Newly Qualified Social Worker team. Your social work expertise will be critical in shaping the future of our team’s practice and supporting service improvement. All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role. This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and as such, appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
